RESUMPTION OF ACTIVITY AT ESSENTIS®

Dear Essentis Families®.

Given the current global health situation generated by the Covid19 virus outbreak, we would like to send a message of clarification regarding health security to Essentis®.

The main objective of Essentis has always been to ensure the health of our patients.

For this reason, Essentis has taken appropriate measures to ensure the health of our patients and therapists.

In order to prepare your next comer, I want, on behalf of my entire team, to share with you the arrangements made to work in the best possible conditions.

FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Any passenger wishing to travel to Spain by air must complete a personal and non-transferable form. Once this form has been completed and signed, the passenger receives a QR code associated with their trip which they must keep on their cell phone or print out in order to pass the airport health control. In addition, as of November 23, a PCR test performed less than 72 hours prior to arrival with negative results is required when entering Spanish territory by air (airports) or sea (ports). Travellers in transit are not affected. This measure applies to travelers, regardless of their nationality and the reason for entering Spain, coming from a country classified as "at risk", i.e. with an incidence rate equal to or greater than 150 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Travellers from France are therefore concerned by this obligation. A dissuasive financial penalty is provided for in the event of failure to present a negative PCR test on arrival. The document presenting the PCR test result must be written in Spanish or English. This last point may be subject to further clarification. The entire Spanish territory is subject to the rules of the "new normal", which include the following:The wearing of a mask is mandatory for all persons over 6 years of age, in public spaces or places open to the public, including hotels and shops, when a distance of 1.5 meters cannot be maintained between two people;the wearing of the mask is mandatory in vehicles, if the passengers do not reside in the same household ;the respect of barrier gestures;the keeping of passenger registers by transport operators, kept for four weeks.

IN THE CENTRE

The centre has set up a new front door with an airlock and a new transfer room (so no waiting).

Upon arrival the patients will go by individual family in the elevator and directly into the room allocated to him for the morning or afternoon of therapy.

Only in case your child is an adult, and does not help with transfers, 2 adults will be accepted.

Decontaminations will be organized to ensure maximum tranquillity.

We will limit contact to a therapist/child.

All therapies will be performed in the same room assigned to the patient.

The doors of the rooms will be open to avoid contact with the wrists.

No other patients will have access to it, to avoid contact.

The coffee room as well as the canteen (the self-service) will be closed and you will be allowed to drip into your rooms.

Access to the secretariat will be on appointment, one by one.

All staff will be equipped with masks and equipment suitable for this resumption of activity.

Only one parent will be accepted at the centre.

Siblings will no longer be accepted until further notice

TO CALM YOU DOWN
I refer you to a study carried out on more than 2000 cases (https://www.sjdhospitalbarcelona.org/es/investigacion-covid19-ninos).
According to this study "Children and minors are known to be a group at risk of serious respiratory diseases, especially respiratory syncytial virus. This makes the low incidence of COVID-19 in children surprising. Therefore, what is the particularity of boys and girls that makes them so protected? »

The conclusion of this joint study is that "it is
there are significant differences in susceptibility to contagion and severity of development between children and adults."
